NHL enthusiast looking to earn a position as a sports writer.

Graduate of University of Guelph-Humber with a Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts and a Diploma in Media Communications with an area emphasis in Journalism.

I have spent time as a local news reporter with the Sarnia Observer and interned with the Fan590. In addition I was a sports writer for the campus newspaper and was involved in television, radio and print productions of campus news.

Online I have spent time writing for www.hockeyleaks.com and www.suite101.com

My life has resembled sports and writing from a very young age. In elementary school when asked to write journals, I would always write the playground soccer reports from the games played at recess. I even organized a league with four teams and kept track of everyone’s stats. Through highschool I worked at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre (now the RBC Centre) with the Sarnia Sting. Since coming to Toronto for post-secondary education I haven’t spent a day where I wasn’t employed at either a newspaper, radio or online production writing for sports.
